Granny's gone and done it again

Yes, I'm in the process of moving furniture and cleaning and trying to find a spot for it. I've never done crate training and read that whippets do well. They like a safe quiet spot to themselves. We'll see. At the very least it will be a place to put the pup if I can't watch him... like if I have to use the bathroom or take a shower!
it is easier. Dog wont poop where they eat so plenty of treats in there.

He is! I just hope he's not too much for Scooter. Scoot has very good doggy manners, so I hope the pup will learn from him.

Tuna's babies are so cute. A video is a great way to show them off.
When are you heading north to get your orphan dogs?
Do you have an exercise pen. I show people how to set up an area for 5heir new puppy.

New puppy families...these are a few of the set-ups done for the new puppies. Notice the grass or potty area right outside the kennel. Usually when puppies wake they stand and take a few steps and then potty. I am using real grass from Doggie Lawn. Another option is pellets. I do recommend having something inside for them to potty. It does not interfere with the outside potty training process.

Also note the the washable pee pads.

Another thing recommended is the Snuggle Puppy. Chewy or Amazon.

Kong! Kong! Kong! I’d recommend 3 medium sized. Red Kong’s. The red will be good to have at all life stages.

X-Pen with vertical slats. Probably 36” tall would be great. Check Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. It’s something you might be able to use and resale for about what you paid.

I’ll have some other suggestions too but I think these are pretty important to have.
