Hi Blue, i am ok but missing my electricity! Phone power down to 52%. Burning candles and an oil lamp, been reading a book and eating frozen treats. After all, they may melt! How are you tonight?

My shepherd , Mini said there was something interesting up a tree in the barnyard. She has learned to open the gate if i fail to latch it because i plan to go back out that way! I was looking, but didn't see any eye shine. It is a huge poplar, so there could be a whole mischief of coons up there. Anyway, chickens all cooped up.

We did have a thunderstorm, but it wasn't raining when the power went out. Hubby sent me a message that the power company expected the power to come back on at 2:30. We will see. He thinks maybe a transformer blew. I drove down our road, no power lines or trees down.

Well she will come get me if she trees something. Not really in the mood to shoot varmints unless i must. My right ear is infected again and feels full. Hope my ear tube is still in place. It is difficult to put drops in your own ear.

Lol, Mini knows what rabbits, coons and possums are. If i name the right one, then she barks. Gets very excited too.

A year or so ago, we had a kickin' electrical storm where lightning blew the top half off a power pole about a quarter mile from us. It was so loud we thought it was a lot closer than that! They had to replace both pole and transformer. I think it only took them about 4 hours. They're very efficient!
