I ran into the same thing after my divorce. Everything had been in my husband's name. I didn't exist. Learned my lesson. I now have a card in my own name. If anything happens to The Man, I have a credit history. I can get the utilities in my name if I have to. I couldn't do that before.

TSC is evil. They have lovely little balls of fluff drawing you in with their hypnotic cheeping. And to make matters worse, they had Speckled Sussex, which is what #1son really wants to try. 3 would have been perfect, but oh no, evil TSC has a 5 chick minimum purchase. Luckily they had Cream Legbars.

Alright, had to catch up, now I gotta do some dishes and probably do some yoga before bed. Sigh. Shenanigans at the office....let a foreman go. BossLady calls me up "oh yeah we let this guy go, can you cut his check tomorrow?"

....bee, if you KNEW that was going to happen, you should have told me THAT MORNING so I could cut the check and we'd be all legal and good. But noooo. You gotta push the legalities.

Really hoping a certain other nameless employer more local to me finally realizes I exist and contact me about one of the two positions I applied for. Kind of nervous where the economy is going in regards to new home construction/our industry...and the bosses have cut pay before if things get to be too tight. (though heaven forbid their family tighten belts....)

we did and they said their waiting on something about taxes. I didnt understand what. Online it says for us to call and when we called they said we dont need to do anything else.
