Yeah, no kidding! He has been trying to get up on the couch all week. Wait, that's not it... he's been getting up on the couch all week and being told firmly to stay OFF.
TECHNICALLY he's in my lap, not on the sofa.
We gave him that grey chair in the last pic, but what he really wants is to snuggle.

Got an alert on my phone earlier tonight... an earthquake warning! Had all of about 30 seconds warning. I was skeptical, but we heard and felt it.
Luckily it was mild (4.4).

Wow, it's huge! I'm surprised the birds haven't been picking at it. The jays are after ours. Much smaller and the flowers bend way over when the birds land on top.

We don't have many big birds around..I've seen a jay here and there. Mostly sparrows, different types of finches, hummingbirds .. they're leaving for the winter. Starlings..
