I know some peeps with a golden... He needs a ton of brushing. Made me resolve when I got a dog that it would NOT be long haired. Sweet dog, just too much work pour moi.

I swore that too but then I look in them eyes and all hope is gone. Good thing is none of them shed unless they are very overdue for a cut and it tangles. I find the tangles on the floor .

LOL, I'm not very attracted to the foofy doggers... Then again, owning a dog that couldn't outsmart you would be nice.

When my dog was 6mo old, I trained her to ring a bell on command. She mastered it in under 5 minutes. I then put the bell away and forgot about it for 6 more months... When I found it and tried getting her to do it, she remembered perfectly. I was amazed.

No, not really. Just a bit I've picked up due to local peeps using it. I couldn't even order a pizza in French...

Yeah; no way no how am I teaching her that one!!

She knows where on the counter I keep the chicken bucket. She also knows how to pull it off the counter w/o spilling it and sneak it back to her bed where she feasts on mouldy strawberry tops and lettuce ends.
