My dogs dont care about loud noises either. Shoot, Bandit IS the loudest thing in the house.

You don’t want them to grow fast. You want them to grow slow.

Can you control how fast they grow? Pi gets puppy kibble and some nights he gets about ¼ cup of bone broth. Oh yeah, he also gets the occasional chicken turd, weeds, kale stems, apple... He certainly isn't fat.
