No. He was older, and late onset seizures are harder to figure out a cause. They offered to do a CAT scan to see if it was brain tumors. Only $2500. I asked what are the chances it's a brain tumor... they said it wasn't common. Ooookay... and you can't really do anything about it anyway? Oh no, we could shrink the tumors with steroids. Ahhhh, well if you think it could be tumors, couldn't we just try the steroids and see if he gets better? Well, let's see if the medication will work first. Most of the time in older dogs we don't ever find the cause. Ooookay, so I guess a $2500 CAT scan is not the best idea... She just looked at me... sadness and a bit of embarrassment on her face.

Sell the wood, I meant. We've been paying about $45 for a face cord or what they call a rank in these parts. Would be $90 a cord by my reckoning. And that may or may not be delivered, and almost certainly (usually) not stacked even if it is delivered. However, I get mine from the sweetest old guy around, who not only delivers but also stacks it so neat and tight and pretty I can hardly bear to start unstacking it to bring some in the house to burn.
