Love Walker. Anything with Chuck Norris in it is gold IMHO. Always a softy for the programs where the good guy wears a white hat, so to speak....and can kick butt.

Always been a fan of westerns. Especially the old TV western, Bonanza, Laramie, High Chaparral, the Virginian etc.

Also like the realistic western programs on Prime and the other networks. Saw Deadwood on Prime, changed how I looked at the old west. Pretty raw and gritty but more how I imagine it really was. Makes the old westerns we grew up with and loved look pretty ummmm....lame? But I still love them.

Posse from hell is on now. It's a good one. He rarely played the bad guy but did in "Bullet with no name ". It was still a good movie. Hard to pick the best. He played Jimmy Stewart's brother in "Night passage ". He was a semi bad guy in that one and got killed in the end.

I will pick one to watch tonight. My hubby likes westerns

Not crazy about it myself but the 'f' word was probably used a lot more than 'shucks' and 'darn' back then.

Love John Wayne movies. Angel and the Bad Man. The Quiet Man. Even loved the JW war movies. Some of my favorite growing up movies was sitting with my dad and watching John Wayne save the world.

One of the things that bothered me about the old westerns was the good guys always wore white and they were always CLEAN!

Seriously. I could walk by my horse wearing white and instantly be dirty. And their horses always had trimmed ears and muzzles. Really? I have a hard time seeing any of the old time characters out with a hand clipper trimming out their faithful mounts' excess facial hair while the fort was under attack and the rustlers were running off with the cattle herd.

Gotta go get the dogs in for the night and feed the cats. Later everyone.
