Well, I thought I had all the chickens moved. Went by the old house to feed the ducks and saw a poor little bantam Cochin hen wandering around just soaked. Fed everyone, picked her up and hauled her in the passenger seat of the truck to the new place. She was a happy girl to see the Serama pair wandering around.

I was on this morning, but having internet problems again. Had to drive for the cross country team again. #2 didn't run, but not related to his barfy tummy. He has pulled a muscle or stretched a tendon or something across his hip. It has been hurting pretty bad and the coach wants to give it a chance to heal.

Told all my room's that the Game Warden was here and that he was NOT happy about the whole birds being thrown away with nothing being used. Which is illegal. I honestly have no idea who was doing it but let every group know. We shall see if it stops the waste and if they all return next year.

Hey Granny..i'm far behind.DH back is out he is having Mri the second.my DD is staying with us now.not easy to get on here alot now,she is a lot of help to me waits on her dad hand and foot and loves to clean so i said get to it, clean my house she did...

I think you should tell Julie what your boys said and let her decide whether or not to take action. If it were my daughter, I'd want to know.

So done with this day. Came home to realize my nose is working again, learned that by smelling fresh dog poop right by the front door. DH is mad that I didn't know how much money I spent. After all those stops I lost track of my cents and sense. He ranted about dollars, talked to me like I'm a kid, so now I've put him in charge of buying groceries.

I'll clean up the poop, but after that I'll go straight to bed. Too tired to deal with shenanigans.

I didn't even eat my supper. My farm friend needed to pick up some stuff, so I'm at the dining hall waiting for her. I was so mad at the rant that I gave my fries to bubba and walked out. Feeling very mistreated and sorry for myself.

Kids aren't going to remember penny pinching, but the cool Halloween costumes mom made will be the stuff of lifelong memories.

Linda, regarding the wash for Rocco's ear.... small bottle costs around $10 at the pet store. Squirt it in and massage to work it in really good. That's it. He will shake it all out if he can, so maybe best done outside.

Why, of course! Isn't that how all chickens travel? Oh and I was worried she'd get hungry, so she's got a 50# bag of feed behind her, of course and mealworms down on the footboard.

Hubs wants to fence the whole yard. Hahaha I think that'll wait until after tax returns.

Still need washer/drier...will need curtains...chicken coop...mini fence for dog...container for all his stuff...I have the feeling the girls may get a temp solution for a month or two.

Morning, long night . I had just got cozy when the phone started ringing. CB jumps up and answers it . said it was his mom and all he heard was battery. before he lost her.

She could be anywhere. He called his dad who had no idea where she was or what may be going on. I know she is in trouble because she wouldnt call that late . I got on FB and found her. She was way out in the boonies . no /bad signal on her phone and out of gas. she called 911 because thats all she could with her phone ? Not sure about that but they could of called me at least. so I wake Tom to let him know I am leaving , took Robert w/ me and we found her. some one had gave her a gallon of gas and she said it was enough to get her to the station. She borrowed 5 from Robert and off she went. I offered to follow and she said no. back home back in bed and cant sleep now. back on FB and she had just got home. Yup, she ran out again before she made it to the station and walked .

It just struck me funny this morning, No insurance, lost NC. drivers lic., ect.... out of gas in the boonies. OH I know ! call the po-po . Probably a good thing they didnt have a car available . besides the fact of why she was out there . They would of smelled her/van and did a search and I dont have bail money.
Taught her everything I know and she's still my idiot daughter. hmmm..
