Side note: Sandhills hatchery is highly respected in the conservation breeder circles, they are the only hatchery attempting to preserve rare American breeds or breeds that were once popular in the US like Krainkoppe, understandably I agree they need to work on their business model but I as a breeder myself can completely understand what they are doing.

Maybe I will get some of those next year. I am getting my order in super early if I like the quality of the chicks I am getting.

true, I would of complained on that one if you paid the $25 you should of had good quality chick.   Maybe they got mixed up and he didnt know. 

I won eggs on an auction. I paid for some extra eggs. They were not cheap but they weren't 25 dollars

83* here now. Still taking out wall cabinets. 3 more to go & then it will be only putting back in cabinets. Looked at black countertops this morning. Too much for our budget. Probably have to get whatever Home Depot has in stock. May not be black. Probably be brown. If so we ll be back to white appliances.

When we re did our kitchen we got blackish granite.....I guess it has some specs of other colors so it's not completely black but, I do not like it...I keep a clean house but it, along with my black stove, shows every single itty bitty crumb the kids leave behind.

If I could change it again I would, along with all this stainless steel crap...too many constant finger prints on them (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher)

if you want really GOOD quality I know the only other heavy breeder he a good friend of mine that been working on getting them to European standard. They are amazing smart birds with awesome brooding instincts as they age, and they'll stay laying for years. The chick I have ATM mother is a KK that is 4 years old and she still steadily lays when not broody.
