Forgot to say, I saw nice looking hams at walmart for .98 c a lb. It was the gold wrapped ones. Made me sad to not buy one because that much meat would last a very long time here.
I dont need to leave til 1:30 . The test is at 4 but I have to be there 2 hrs. early to drink contrast.

I've never heard of the Stollen breads...so..had fun watching some videos..thanks twist...this one looks easiest to me.

they sound like a fruitcake but there not. Taste is very different.

Morning all!

Granny, tell Robert he jinxed me. I wasn't around yesterday. Got up with my left eye bothering me. Felt like I was getting a sty but couldn't see anything. Eye was burning, dry, then tearing and running. Used moisturizing drops all day and declared defeat in the afternoon and had my husband break out the exam equipment and check it for me.

Diagnosis? Clogged Meibomian gland. Sigh, So I'm doing the same thing Robert is plus squirting drops in my eye three times a day. It feels better today thank goodness.

Hope Robert's are feeling better as well.

I hear we have a major winter storm heading for us with wind chills in the severe range and blizzard like conditions. Also something like up to 12 inches of snow. I mean I like the idea of a white Christmas (my dad's favorite song. He would sing along with it and tears would roll down his cheeks) but really?

One of my water heaters took a dive so I need to fix that and hang some wind break plastic. Fun Fun in 35 degree temps.
