It is -2° here now; wind chill is -24°F.

Thank God for a nice warm house on a night like this. And to be home in my own bed. I am so sorry for all the people trying to travel in it! I make a motion that we move Christmas to June or July and celebrate Independence day in December. That way there will be no forest fires started by fireworks, or millions of people stranded in airports by blizzards. Is there a second?

#2 helped me with a big shopping trip. My back is bad again, so nice to have someone to carry the heavy grocery bags. Pi came too. He didn't have much fun, gets car sick and doesn't like waiting alone, but we were gone too long for him to have stayed in his crate at home.
