Wait listed 6 guinaes & 4 cubalayas with ideal poultry for shipment in June. Been wanting cubalayas for years. Probably won't incubate any this year if I get these & the Brody's 13 eggs hatch because I don't have room for more than 50 chickens & I don t know whe I ll be able to free range them with this bird flu in the state already. Want to incubate popcorn's eggs but I'm not. Gonna feed them to Bella today.

Morning everyone, first morning in a week that I haven't gotten up with a nasty sinus headache

The sun is shining, the birds are singing & the roosters are crowing. My plan for the day is to be OUTSIDE! With hopes of getting a bit of raking & yard cleanup done. Lower back already giving me fits, so not certain how much raking I will get done, but d@mmit I'm going to try. Insert granny here (this is when my frustration kicks in.) Lower back condition makes it very hard to complete tasks I need to get done. As well as a bad shoulder that needs some tweeking. Simple project yesterday afternoon has left me hurting already, but I'm still going to try to get stuff done. Granny, hope the Ach is feeling a bit better today. Sorry that you hurt your already sore wrist. Can you possibly wear your boot, so if you have to bear weight on your Ach that it's protected a bit? Congrats to everyone that has eggs a cookin'. Mine are on day 11. Big

to @campingshaw for your stellar job of fundraising. From my own experience, fundraising ranks right up there on the list of "One of the Most Hated Jobs" IMO Prayers for you to be successful with these businesses. Happy Hump Day everyone....HiHo...HiHo...it's off to work I go lol.

Thanks Lisa! I'm taking a "break" today, except I'm not. Laundry and housework, hoping to work some in the garden today and maybe muck the coops. I have a couple emails to send and some eggs to ship, and cooking one last meal for the nomads tonight. They're leaving Friday! My one hona that was ahead is trying to internal, everyone else looks right on time. Soon as I get the hatcher set up I'll move them over.

Last fall after it started raining some kind of weed grew up 8 ft high thru the chicken wire on the top of the kernal. I'm gonna put a tarp over the top also & on the west side to try & keep them dry when it rains. If these broody chicks don't hatch they are going back in the pen.
