Have you looked on YouTube? They usually have good advice. Check a few different ones, thoughRobert is insisting we use glue on the plumbing and Kevin is insisting we dont. He said there is a putty that can be used if needed. He will come tomorrow at 6pm to try and fix it. This is getting old let me tell you. I need my sink back.
Oh, I just been taking it easy.Cynthia, you need to get that checked.

how old is he? Sounds like puberty to me.Something's wrong with my ManChild, I think he is broken! He has been snacking on carrots and celery, and tonight when I served a frittata made with potatoes and onions and broccoli ... he ATE it!!!And then ... he had a second serving, and then a THIRD!
And now he is in the spare room working out on the BowFlex! I just don't know who he is any more!

So sorry, MC! We had a BJG that lost half his comb and at least half his wattles in a severe winter a couple of years ago. I felt so bad bc it was really our fault, my fault. I'd built one of those no-waste feeders out of a 5-gal plastic bucket and 4" PVC ells. His comb and wattles were just too big. When he put his head in to eat, with snow on his head, he was damaging his comb and it just couldn't take it. And his wattles were so bi ... when he drank from the bucket, they'd get wet, and then freeze. He really suffered. We fed him from a flat pan because he got so he couldn't eat, his wattles were so sore, poor guy. We lost him that spring to a coyote, we believe, trying to protect the girls. Such a sweetie. Two roosters with frost bite. One will lose a couple points and the other will lose half his comb. Big dummy. I can tell he didn't have his head under his wing deep enough. The shed has enough air leaks that I'm not worried about ventilation and the fact that none of the other bachelors with big floppy combs have damage tell me the whole story. The two points the other rooster has damaged looks like he had his head under his wing but not far enough. I'm glad we are coming out of this rough spell. I'm tired of hauling hot water out to the coop 4 times a day with the wind so strong it hurts and makes my eyes water.
