Ginkgo trees are cool. Ancient species. The last of a group of trees that were around when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

I think there called dinosaur trees. Not sure if this is it or not

Wollemia nobilis has been named a 'living fossil' or a 'dinosaur tree' because it represents the only remaining member of an ancient genus, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs.

they get huge and although they are considered evergreens they drop their leaves in winter.
