Howdy!

Granny, what did you do today? My most ambitious thing was taking Pi for a walk during a break in the rain. Some neighbors had the same idea, letting their little boy jump in the puddles!
Break in the rain was pretty short. We only got a little bit wet. Pi doesn't seem to mind it. Not like the Ridgebacks. They hated getting wet.

I didnt do much of anything. Laid back day. Im glad Pi dont mind the rain. Frosty hates it. Wont go out. I never seen a dog hold it as long as she will.

what was your temps. I used to love walking in the rain. I get too cold now. Mom would say "look at that duck" hahaa I guess my gm was the same way.
were ridgebacks smart dogs?

The Ridgebacks were too smart. Very independent. The first girl especially. She took care of things on the farm. Kept watch over everything.

It was 60⁰ today. The temps are supposed to cool down the next few days.

They need a firm hand and a lot of exercise. I would have loved to get one, but don't think I can keep up with one any more. Pi's hard enough.

Robert asked me what kind of dog I was looking for. I told him I didnt have plans to get another one. He said then why ya looking? I said I want one but its just not a good idea right now. He didnt believe me.

I think those aussies? Are like that. those blue eyed cattle herder dogs

Australian shepherd... they can be pretty nice I think, but I'm not crazy about the herding dogs. They seem to get obsessive if they don't have work to do. The lady I got Pi from also breeds mini Aussies. She even had a tea cup one that baby Pi was playing with. Real pretty colors. Did you know they are actually an American breed, despite the name!

None of my pics were very good. They never stopped moving.
