I had one that was a very nice boy. Only person he ever bit was my brother, who was always mean to him.

When I rescued and fostered I had a couple. No problems with them. They were sweet.

Females are easier than uncut males to housebreak.

I never had a problem with my males..but..they had been fixed. My daughter was just telling me today she's having problems with her male dachshund that hasn't been fixed. It does make a difference.

I get off and on here. My eyes start to bother me..I get off for a few minutes..come back..then leave..then come back...I'm learning my triggers. I've had a great last couple of days. Upped my medication about 4 nights ago. Must be working.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better, Cynthia. I'm doing the same with my neck and shoulder pain, learning how far I can push myself before I need to quit or take a break and rest. It's hard when you have gone through life hell bent for leather.

I slipped on a cat dish in the kitchen last night and went down like a bag of rocks. I dole out food on plastic saucers I have that will feed one or two cats at a time. Problem is our Jack Russell/Border Collie mix, Spotty Dog thinks she is the prewash crew and will follow the cats and clean up any crumbs left behind. She did that and left one of the platters in the path to the kitchen and in the dark I didn't see it. Stepped on it and it shot out like a banana peel and me along with it. Invented a few new swear words on the way down, Luckily didn't break anything but plenty sore this morning.

I don't bounce as well as I used to since I lost all the weight,

Supposed to be in the 40s here today but it is only in the low 30s right now and mostly cloudy. So much for the sun they promised.

Whew! My biggest worry is falling. I have Osteoporosis and they wanted to infuse me. Looked it up. Said no thanks I'll keep up on my calcium. I do religiously. So glad you didn't break a hip!

Thanks Cynthia. Same here. I did the Prolia infusions for almost 3 years. It was horrible. Dr said my osteoporosis was severe enough that there was a hip fracture in my future and it would be a life changer so I went along with his recommendations. My last Dexa Scan showed no porosis but he said my T score was still pretty bad and he recommended I go back on the Prolia.

I put on my big girl panties, pulled my self up to my whole intimidating 62 (barely) inches and said NO! No Prolia. It may of helped me but the side effects affected my quality of living. Joint pain, fatigue, depressed immune system. Skin infections and if you do your homework on line you will find that it can contribute to intestinal bleeds which is what I had in Sept of 21. I wasn't going to go there again.

Promised him I would do more weight bearing exercises...like hauling 50lb feed bags, 20lb water jugs, helping DH roll around 200lb sections of fire wood into the tractor bucket isn't enough weight bearing exercising. Promised I would walk more and keep up on my 1200 mg of Citracal and 5000 mg of vitamin D3. But no more Prolia.

Plus the expense was pretty bad. Without insurance or Medicare a dose was at the time over 2400 dollars. I was paying over 260 out of pocket, close to 300$. Told my DH that it was the first time in my life I ever paid for being tortured.
