Granny's gone and done it again

she isnt in on fridays. Urgent care is full of sick peeps.
That’s how we got covid. My DH sitting in ER for three hours. You need antibiotics if it is mastitis. Or what we do with the dogs is buy a head of cabbage , peel the leaves off, freeze the leaves and apply to the area. Very cooling and soothing.

There is the train of thought that says when you reach a certain age you need all the preservative you can get but I agree with you.

I stopped buying store sliced bread years ago and started making my own. One day I read the ingredients and saw all the preservatives in it. Seriously, when you can leave a loaf sitting on the end of your kitchen island for two weeks and it's still fresh you gotta start to wonder what they have put in it to give it that longevity..

Plus, homemade just tastes better says she as she enjoys a slice hot from the oven. :drool

No whole foods here but I buy our meat from a store that uses only local midwest beef and pork. We don't eat pork but the beef just tastes better also especially when you can get it straight from the butchers case.
I used to bake. Baked a lot of bread until my shoulders and hands gave out. Looking for a hand surgeon now..trigger finger. 🙄 I've left it too long, it's quite painful now, didn't used to be. Plus, I can't eat homemade breads or anything with yeast in them because of my poor gut. :(

Granny it sounds a lot like what my Richard suffers with. Sitting in his wheelchair is hard on his body. He's gained a lot in the tummy area so he's having issues with a sore area..all across..that won't go away. He's actually suffered with it since he was home wirh me treating it. Airing it out has been his best help. Plus..ok..this would bug him if he knew I told, but it may help. Huh..as far as I know you may have already tried using these..women's pads. Helps keep it more dry than anything he's tried.. including any type of medical bandages. Dry. I was just teasing when I said..was 10 times a day. Yeast is a tough one. I've dealt with it often in the past with Richard. Now he's on his own trying keep up with sore areas.

are they saying shes any better or?
She's feeling better, probably because of the pain meds. They just need to get all of that out. Not sure how that can be done and kept done short of taking that thing out. But, then she wouldn't get nutrients. Every time she eats, she throws up..without trying now. It just happens.
