Only half of the tree is out. There will be a portion of the stump remaining. They will cut out what they can. Unfortunately, these coast live oaks are like ginormous weeds... they will grow all sorts of sprouts from the stump. You have to keep after it or you'll have several new trees in no time.

On Feb. 7 I have a guy coming out from Invisible Fencing to give me a bid on putting underground electric fencing around my property to keep my dogs home. So they quit chasing SIL's dogs back over to her place when they come over here to bark at my chickens ... I'll probably have to hock one of my kids to pay for it ... but it'll be worth it, I guess.

What's the price difference for an invisible fence vs a visible one?

I might get extra collars to put on her dogs so they get zapped if they come over here .... not sure if it works that way but I will ask.
