Hi Troyer, Wishing came for a visit to me and there was a vulture sitting in the road and she picked it up and moved it to a tree.
Poor thing didn't make it. Turkey vultures are nature's disinfectors. They can eat all sorts of nasty harmful bacteria, and their digestive system will kill it all. Very sanitary, they are.

I wont buy those with the nubs. Have you stepped on it barefoot yet?
It's very soft and hollow with a squeaker. It's his favorite. We play all sorts of games with it... Frisbee, tug, chase the tire, find the donut, get the bracelet off your leg... :D

aww, thats sweet. No, the ones I bought were hard.

I would of never thought they were sanitary. I figured they would smell bad. Robert said they start eating from the poop chute because of easy access . Is that true?
Yeah, they will start at whatever is the softest area. Lot of times they just get leftovers from other scavengers.
They are one of the very few birds with a sense of smell.

And "sanitary" is relative. Removing and destroying harmful bacteria from the environment is good. Having one regurgitate on you cause you scared it, not so great. Overall, a very beneficial creature. Much better than those mean black buzzards.
