Prayers have been going out for all of the states that have been getting hit.Fine, thanks, and thank God. Could not update bc we had no cell service after all that, and then fell asleep. The storm seemed to lose energy as it came into our area and then passed over us so family left and we went to bed. Morning news said it hit the county north of us, there is extensive damage, injuries, and ... fatalities. Don't know how many yet. As of this writing they are still searching for people. Prayers, please.![]()

I lived in Florida, so we would get hurricane warnings, by the sound of the town horn! Back in the 60's we didn't have the kind of tech that we have today. So they did their best. The dumb thing was, we went under the house! Outside. Opened our windows, which they know now is not the right thing to do, and went under the house. Crazy. Came back into the house once to find our furniture moved around. I remember I had a pearl necklace. It had been strewn all over the floor. We would get into the car later to see how far the ocean had come into town. We lived in Fernandina Beach. Out from Jacksonville. When we lived in TN, a tornado hit nearby.
