I am putting a lot of energy into Robert. I always have. Its hard but something I feel like needs to be done.

not sure didn't get to talk much he was beat up for 23 hours straight on the flight back

but then he's Old . going to be 58 this July. LOL and married which ages IMHO

does it keep other dogs out? What caused you to get this kind of fencing compared to chain link?

No it doesn't but that's not much of a problem. The problem is Sammy chasing vehicles and also, well ... we may not have Gracie much longer and if we get another dog we need a way to keep it in. There is only one place Sammy gets out, an opening that vehicles go through, like an open gate. But I can't put a gate across it because we have to allow the cattle people to go through there. They lease the land around us, and they drive through every day to feed the cattle. Even if there was a gate there, it wouldn't stop Sammy, he'd just go through it whenever they open the gate to drive through.
