Low energy level today. The two potted tomato plants i bought were wilted today, so i planted both of them and gave each a gallon of water.
I spread old hay in Mel's exercise area, because we are supposed to have torrential rain tomorrow. This latest hay is making me sneeze like crazy!
I built the frame for another stall area in the barn, and painted it. Just have to cut the piece of cattle panel and attach it to the door. And i assembled the frame for the floor in the other half of the brooder i have been working on.

It dont sound low energy. You must be pretty tired after all that!

well, she is doing well with her training anyway. First thing was outside and down. She hasnt had an accident in the house at all and instead of jumping on us she jumps in the air next to us so still working on that. Robert is her own personal toy when he sits in the floor she likes to chew his hair. She will only lick me and training her to stay away from Tom. Walking is so so I heard. She is good starting out then gets antsy.

yes he did. No pictures. She has just turned 4 months and has been sick. She was much better today. There is a pic here that she Looks like except for the ears Hers stand up.

OMG trying for find brown egg layers that could be shipped before August or September, much have tried 8 hatcheries.

Finally ended up with Welp and 50 Amberlinks with are a sex-link, heritage NOT to be found. Shipping May 2, which is earlier than I wanted BUT honestly just glad to find/get some.

Woke up to about an inch of snow on the grass, roads were slick. Most has now melted off.

Rwist has gone and done it again! Congrats. Unusual for you to get chicks this time of year isnt it?

Oh, and i dug a ditch about 15' long to divert water from the duplex coop. Yeah, i had a short nap... But i just went out again and did more feeding and watering.

We had ribs and baked potato tonight, it was really great. Hubby sure can cook!
