Have you gotten your chicks yet?

They got here yesterday , the PO called at 8 am. Finally got to actually sit and relax after 8 pm.

50 chicks/freak-a-zoids with the zoomies and no brakes or turning ability.

Just got charged 90 dollars for a vet office visit.

OH and some very sad/bad news , Hailey's calf has disappeared, I suspect the creek got it.

I slept almost all day today. Was without one of my Rx for about a week (the one for my bipolar), got it late yesterday... have been on it since 2000. The paperwork says not to stop taking it suddenly, doing so can cause seizures. Had no seizures, thank God, just dizzy and a little disoriented but ... whew. May take a day or two to get back on track. Not responsible for anything stupid I may say!

Nugget's calf from last Nov was trying to nurse on her the other day. Not sure if she got anything or not. Nugget didn't seem to upset. I NEED to get the last 3 very late calves (yearlings) out of the main herd.
