Granny's gone and done it again

Ive never had one that wasnt spayed except for Frosty and she was pregnant. Do they bleed in the house or?
My littlest dog wasn't for the longest time because my vet thought she was too little to put under. She was high risk.
Yes they bleed similar to people. You can get diapers.
Do stray dogs show up? It makes me a lil nervous. LOL
I've never had problems with them. The neighbors dog comes over all the time but not for that reason.

How big is your little one?
I can see Robert changing diapers! :lau

you will get another male right? I called a vet today about spaying Fawn. She said its better to wait til they are at least 8 months that it affects their growing. I heard that about male dogs but not females.
The idea of neutering a very young dog has fallen out of favor. Studies are showing that allowing the dogs to experience their hormones makes them healthier and less inclined to some diseases and skeletal problems. A lot more studies need to be done, but you can imagine the effect on a person of having their gonads removed as a child... it wouldn't be great.

I've never had an unaltered dog either. Pi is over a year now and he is low key so far, so I may just leave him au naturale. I'm open to getting a female, but will not breed, so a rescue female that's already been spayed is an option rather than a puppy. I'm not in a hurry.

Detroit spayed at 6 weeks. Talk about early! A rescue as in a mutt or?
Does Pi try to hump?

The clinic I worked at didn't have a age limit but as long as the pup was 5lbs and a Kitten 2lbs they'd do the surgery.

wow! Thats so tiny. Can you imagine a 4lb dog having a puppy? It would probably kill her.
