And they said no, it doesn't test for that. They have to be 2 yo to get OFA certified. So they bred her at least once not knowing what her OFA status is. Red flag, I know.

I went out tonight to put the goats away, and i wasn't 20 feet from a deer when i was standing on the porch. It was just sauntering along ! Took after it with the flash light. It went through the back lawn and hid behind a bush with its head sticking out. I shone the light on it and yelled. It finally left. Hung up some netting that is supposed to give vines something to grow up. Put 2 across where the deer has been getting in.

Nobody has extra money because everything is so expensive.
I was about 50 when I thought I was facing dementia. I got tested and tested and finally a neurologist tested for B12. Was very B12 anemic. Started injections then and there and had to take one every day for 2 weeks. Then 1 a week until the sublingual tablets came out. Still have to take it. The doc told me that some people just stop absorbing it from foods.
It's easy when you live in a desert. Things only grow where you water in the summer.
And chicken math doesn't help it any at all. I did manage to walk away from some real cute Prairie Bell pullets a few days ago. I everything but had my wallet out then I thought about those 6 extra mouths to feed.
