A smart phone is a type of cell phone. They run off of the cell towers all over the world. There are two types of smart phones. Apple's i Phones and Samsung and others with the iOS operating system. Then I here Elon Musk is now selling smart phones too. That's all I know about that one.

Dexcom is a cell phone, smart phone. smart means it can do things for us dummies. I will look into it if my AC1 goes any higher. I see that it is smart enough to use an installed program to communicate with the patch I see. That's just one more smart medical device. My brother once wrote software for kidney dialysis machines. I marvel at he new things even the dentist use now making film X-rays obsolete.

yes, all the new technology . is too much for me to learn. I tend to stay away from it.
