Granny's gone and done it again

Money can change people all to often. I've seen strawberry land planted into condos all to often.

They are building like crazy in california. Lots of condos and apts.

I managed to get a decent nap while it cooled down a whole degree.

I woke up just in time to take afternoon meds. I've found pain is best controlled if I do like the doc said and take them every 8 hours. I didn't want to take them but at night. Finally started in the morning and that helped. Once I tried the every 8 hours I get more done with my chickens. Now it this furnace grade heat would cool off I think work would be a lot easier. Expecting 5 straight days of triple digit heat starting tuesday so I may be spending more time yacking here on BYC this week.

Vacation is over

I have school tmrw morning so not much time to waste. Most of the animals survived. Some of the quail didn’t. Sometimes I just want to sell some of the livestock and focus on other stuff. Honestly, I probably should. Maybe I’ll sell off the goats/chickens and keep the quail as my sole birds. It’s getting a little too much. Plus next summer I’ll be working on my college applications. And the next summer after that I’d be preparing to go to college. Wow, time sure goes by fast doesn’t it?

I just finished unpacking. Most of the things are sorted. Getting ready to pack my stuff for school now…

My youngest little hoodlums seems to be intergrated into the free ranging bunch ok. They still roost in their on coop. They just are not big enough to push and shove for the place they might want with the big kids.

Twist must be busy and a bee on a busted watermelon. I hope that he is doing well.

So tired. Went to walmarts. I was able to get my list but not much more. Not sure how this is going to last 2 weeks. I can only do what we have money for I guess.
