Getting a bit suspicious of one of the barred rocks as they feather in. ....on the upside that will make at least one decision on who to get rid of a bit easier, lol.
I am DONE with any type of sex-linked chicken the experience with the Cinnamon Killers was more then enough.
I gots two questions.... one is why does everyday my two roosters have to have a crowing compitition? Then I have two broody Cochin hens. Well one is in the place where they all laid eggs. Now I can't find the ones that my leghorn hen is laying? Any advice?
On the broody mark the eggs that she is allowed to keep. The others pull them out daily or she'll just keep taking eggs. Might be where your leghorn eggs are.
Well no sooner had I posted that. My 6 year old son ran down there and broody momma was out eating and guess what he did! Ran in there and got the eggs! I shouted "put them back!"! "Put them back"... but yep my leghorn eggs were in there!
