For lunch today I made beef burgers topped with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and mushrooms, smothered in mushroom gravy. It's the first time I have actually made good hamburgers without overcooking them, they were really good. Another bucket list item checked off!No pizza but I had a decent lunch with a small chopped steak with gravy, hot apples, and sweet corn.
I actually like my burgers a little crispy. And never pink in the middle. Unlike a steak that gets any surface ecoli killed with searing burger meat grinds surface ecoli into the middle where it will not be killed it not well done through and through.
