Granny's gone and done it again

A person who has never had chickenpox can contract the virus from someone with shingles. When the shingles virus is active, it causes painful blisters on the skin that contain the live virus. If an uninfected person comes into contact with the fluid in these blisters, they could catch the virus and develop chickenpox.

Shingles-to shingles transmission—one person with shingles infecting someone who has had chickenpox—is not possible, but the person with active shingles can spread the virus to someone who never had chickenpox; as a result, the person who never had the virus before will develop chickenpox, not shingles.
Yep

I was planning to get the vaccine when I broke out with shingles on my neck. Believe me, as soon as possible after they healed, I got "the jab!" Shingles are no joke.

You don't even need the sun. Set the jar on the counter and it'll steep, sun or no sun although it's faster in sunlight. Or even on the pilot light of a gas stove.

I think that was supposted to be morphine PUMP, lol.

It can be. I lucked out, went to the dr at the first sign, caught it early so it wasn't too bad. Not pleasant, but not horrific.

A couple of older guys in our church have had it recently. They've missed church for several weeks. It's awful. By all means get the jab.

Have you considered a chiropractor, Cap?

I'm so sorry, Granny. Take care. ❤️🙏❤️
I have never been to a chiropractor. Idk if they can treat this or not. But might be worth a try.
