Granny's gone and done it again

I did the beer can chicken a couple times. Once in the oven. It came out pretty good but peeps want that boneless skinless crap and its like shoe leather when Im done.
I like to do beer can chicken on the Weber. I use Coca Cola and some people I know use Dr. Pepper. I'm shopping for 3 of the stainless fixtures to do 3 at a time. Eat one and freeze 2. We will be eating a lot of chicken as soon as we get a mechanical plucker in. I'm way to old and slow to pick chickens by hand anymore. I've done it and know better than to try and do 25 birds for the freezer at once.

BTW. We got into that Boston Butt I smoked yesterday tonight for supper. I think we might get back into it tomorrow night. That's the first fresh pork I've really enjoyed for 3+ years.
I bet it was good. I had supper with my daughter and her husband Saturday and as soon as I walked into the house I noticed a strong vinegar smell in the air. They had pulled pork and my daughter brought a tablespoon of something she wanted me to try. I sipped it down right quick and it was some strong vinegar concoction. Locked my jaw down tighter than Dick's hat band. Turns out it's some kind of bar be que sauce my son in law was raised on. Horrible stuff. Other than that the pork was good.

Must have been some of that Carolina stuff.
