Morning chores are done and meds are working. Daughter is coming over to help her mom clean house. Mom will tell what and how. I'm going to take a nap until just before lunch then build a roost in one of the coops. Next I need to get materials ready to build a portable coop for taking chickens to auction. By then it will be time for evening chores to start. Ladies from church have volunteered to help wife with house work and light yard work. Asking if any have ever processed chickens. Things could be worse with the aches and pains. Wife is in constant pain with pressure on sciatic nerve. Nothing helps her. 2 more days of PT so docs can't say she didn't try. Going to try and get her into pain management as there is not cure for her messed up back. Going for a nap shortly. Morning meds are taking over.

Im sorry you 2 are struggling so. You are lucky to have some help though. America concel(sp) on ageing has programs to help the elderly stay in their homes. We get it here. Ours is called lifetime and it starts at your drs office. Tell them you need help coming in the house for housekeeping and personal duties IF she needs help bathing and dressing.

Right now we have family and friends here. I'd rather have them than strangers. As for bathing and cooking we get buy ok. Once I've down sized the chickens to just 3-4 coops and not many any each coop, just different breeds to sell hatching eggs from I won't have so much to do. No more coops to build and enough feeders and water fountains I don't have to fill them every day. I can still mow with the John Deere. I need help picking up all the limbs that are down after a recent storm that I just mow around now. That is coming. Nap time now. BBL.
