Granny's gone and done it again

When my northern relative would come down for Christmas my grandmother would go out and pick navel oranges and juice them. That's several pay grades above most juice oranges. Back then the variety of navels they had only produce a good crop every other year but when they did they are so good. They were also very large. Some the size of medium grapefruit.

We have navel oranges Meyer lemons and tangerines

I planted apple, pears and one peach tree. Ive never gotten anything except for the peaches. The tree was so loaded the limbs were breaking and I begged for help with picking them and when I couldnt get any I got mad and went out there and chopped the whole tree down.

I lost my Meyer Lemon. They are grown here commercially on a small scale for local consumption. We have a type of tangerine called a Satsuma orange by locals here. The are the same as many varieties of tangerines that peel easy and are so sweet.
