Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning everyone. We are struggling to get a new range hood installed. A good neighbor is helping. The old one used a round pipe and the new one has a rectangular pipe adapter. Now we need and adapter that goes from rectangle to round. Hoping yet to find one local. If not got to order from Amazon. Nothing seems easy anymore.

That is a line from one of my favorite books, Airs Above the Ground by Mary Stewart.

Yeah Larry. I think you have enough on your plate without taking on yaks.

Oh no! What symptoms did they have that made you get them tested? Yet another reason to hate ticks!
My previous doctor wouldn't test for any other tick borne diseases so i asked my rheumatologist to test. I always feel crappy.

Or cheap!

Very busy yesterday. Last night i taught ceramics class and we all had a good time. Last night i broke a tooth, so i am in the dentists waiting room. I am afraid they will pull it out. I had one pulled already, not liking losing molars..

I want a drake and a few Muscovy hens for meat now that I have a plucker that will take their feathers off. Not sure how many hens are needed per drake.. l hope 4-5 is enough. I need to run over to the Duck forum and find out.
To be safe it looks like I need one drake and 6 hens from what I can find out. They come straight run only so l think 15 ducklings would give us the best of the drakes to choose from and the best of the hens for at least 5 if not 6.
