I use a package thing of spices I buy from my Indian market...
I use chicken thighs...I prefer the dark meat.....brown them.
Add onions, garlic, fresh ginger and the "package"..
then a a cup or two of greek yogurt and some fresh tomatoes...
let it simmer on low for a while ( I don't time anything...the longer it cooks on low the better imo)
Then at about the last 45 mins of cooking I will throw in a few red potatoes.
Serve over basmati rice with naan bread and fresh cilantro on top.
H20,I already have those spices except cardemon. I like curry chicken with cabbage & carrots. I have to wait til dh is working out of town. He can't stand to smell spices cooking.
The box has directions on the back...but I ALWAYS make up my own version....add more things to it.
