Granny's gone and done it again

So I open her up and cut the throat, and bro and I start skinning her, in the process I must have stepped on one of her her horns causing her head to turn up and stare at both of use. Almost need a clean pair of pants over that one.

Then are we are skinning her brother notices the muscles are all twitching away and she is NOT smell the greatest. Cut her head off for nephew and the skin for a guy who has helped with working the yaks and gave the carcus to the hens. I wasn't taking a chance with what must have been a gut shot (first shell) and all the andrenine from the time she laid there and ecolii bacteria. Has she not smelled so "woofy" I might have chanced it.
besides I don't want some one's first taste of Yak to put them off of it because of poor choices on my part.

Let me tell you working the herds on Tuesday was an absolute joy and breeze with out her there. The boys were out there with just rattle paddles sans the paddle part. And mike in the bobcat. Double check the sexing of this years calves and EVERYONE got a 7 way shot. This years calves will need another shot in a couple weeks.

Annies calf is a bull and then the Surprise one out of Scrubbing Bubbles is a heifer.
