Okay, I think I get it. For me anyway ... the page does not automatically refresh. So I'm sitting here staring at your last post, and your light was on when you posted it, so even though you leave, what I'm looking at stays the same. In other words, your light stays lit on your last post. It doesn't go out just because you went away. And when you come back, if you post something new, I don't see that, either. I have to click on the alert bell at the top of the page to see if any new posts have been registered. And if they have and I click on them, THEN I see your new post. And of course, since you came back to post it, your light is on.

Those are beautiful birds, Larry. But I can't see paying those prices for something a raccoon might get hold of ... although we haven't had losses to predators in quite a while.

Or fly into my dog yard
