Granny's gone and done it again

The second time I broke ribs, hubby had prepped for a colonoscopy in Jackson, TN. The road had 2 lanes on each side, and a turning lane in the middle. Some guy fell asleep and would have hit us head on except hubby swerved. Both cars were going about 55 mph. As it was, we ended up in the fast lane on the other side of the road. Ripped tires right off the car! And the window on the passenger side where I was sitting exploded! Hubby just sat there. I said, Hurry up and get out of the car, another car might run into us. My door was jammed shut.
Seems like it took forever for help to get there. I had chest pain and insisted on going to the hospital. They took x-rays eventually, and missed seeing my broken ribs. I went to the family doctor, and I had 3 broken ribs again. Hubby didn't go get checked, but I think he had broken ribs too. He is very tough and able to ignore pain.

This isn't the delay I expected. The next 6 weeks I sleep in this chair across from where my wife sleeps in hers. Chores where going along fine until something tripped me up and I fell and broke 2 ribs. Pain meds not doing much good. l sure like a catalyst to kick them up a notch. I have made one call to see what kind of manual help I can get for chickens and will call a neighbor about his help for a few days. I can attest to the fact that an 8" diameter piece of fire wood does no fit between 2 ribs. No other injury except for my pride in front of my lover girl white giant pullets that I've been getting hugs from every night. They saw it all go down literally. Have a good evening. I'll be fading away as the meds thay gave memworkl onnthle pain.
Oh noo..now I know what Blue was talking about on the other thread. So sorry. 😔
