Understand. Having them hunt and peck through the colon taking samples of a prostate was tough. Glad I did it when it came back positive.

Ive had biopsy before and I couldnt tolerate it. They want the same thing. Numb the skin, dont move, dont cough, nada. Then they go in your throat with a bigger gage needle and take a hunk of my thyroid to test. Its gonna hurt and I need a nerve pill

Maybe a six pack of nerve pills. What ever it takes to keep you safe.

Hi Larry, I came home ate then fell asleep. He didnt do anything except look up my nose and fumble around my neck. They are going to do a biopsy sometime soon to rule out cancer. Wanted to look down my throat with numbing cream and I said maybe later. My nerves just dont take this stuff.

Ohhh...I can't do that with numbing cream! Don't blame you. I actually had an endoscopy done with that numbing spray. He promised I wouldn't remember anything because he gave me something to make me sleepy too. Did..not..work! I remembered everything. Good thing I had it done though. I had Helicobactor Pylori. He told me the treatment I needed. I wasn't sure I wanted to do that. He said I needed to sign a paper saying I refused in case it turned into cNcwr 5 years later. I decided to take the meds. Yep. All endoscoposies have been done with me asleep since. Much better!

Went well. The day and night before were not fun. Esp the night. Up and down all night. Two sticks for the IV. Three small polyps removed. Results will be back in 5 days. I did wake up during the procedure but they gave me more happy juice and I was out. My daughter picked my up then I went out to eat. I splurged on a sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder.
