We got a roosting situation repaired in one coop and a nest box problem fixed in another after I had a morning nap after I got some none chicken things done. Both of us have a touch of a cold or something messing with our sinus and throats. Not going anywhere and no one is coming here except my SIL will stop on her way to San Antonio to be with her son and his family for Christmas.

I've mad e a request for a big bowl of potato salad that is seasoned with bacon and onion that I ca nibble on during the week. I want to work toward that being my only source of carbs of any sizeable amounts. Should be able to get lots of greens this time of year to go with great northern beans. I finished off the chili today so I expect another pot to be ready to start on tomorrow night. I do love my dark red kidney beans. Right now I need to go and play with the baby chicks while they are still babies.
