Granny's gone and done it again

Wishing there is a chicken showin Lodi the last weekend of January. I hope Togo.
I went to that show years ago. Pacific Poultry Breeders Asso. That's when we got interested in Seramas and met Walt Leonard (Fowlman on byc). He was long time breeder of mostly bantams and waterfowl, a poultry judge, and helped write standard of perfection for some breeds. A very practical and kind man. He always said he only kept one thing in his poultry "medicine chest"... a hatchet. His birds were beautiful. He died a couple years later, and with all the changes to byc, his presence seems to be erased.
But the show is worth going to see, and you are so close. Take pictures!

Walt's web page is still up. An interesting guy.

Not really sure. Never see the spiders that make them.
It shouldn't be either from what I've heard. At least not a Black Widow. They like to hide underneath old boards that are laying on the ground behind the wood shed. Brown Recluse I just don't know about. I know someone who get bit by one and the doc had to cut out a chunk of meat to get the toxin out.
