Does he have a name? Sitting on your lap inside the house makes him a pet in my book, and pets get a name.

His name is "Legs" because he has quite a pair.

Yes, it's a terrible habit. Exactly what I've been suffering from myself lately. Fell into a deep pit of worry. Clawing my way out by focusing on blessings, which are all around and all too often taken for granted.

There is a thread on here called "What made you happy today?" It really makes me stop and think. I mean, I'm generally happy most of the time, or at least I'm not UNhappy, but ... to look back over the day and pick out a special blessing ... that's a good habit to get into. And now, having made that kind of a habit, as I go through the day, I watch for moments of happiness to be able to post and share and remind myself of at the end of the day. I'm just becoming more aware, I guess. And that's a blessing in itself!
