I have an inverter generator for electronics that I haven't got setup yet. Need to get some fuel for it. I'll need to keep it fresh by after so many days putting the can full in the van and refilling the can for the generator. What I would really like to have is the one that runs on propane that doesn't go bad and would power the whole house and out buildings too. Can't justify the expense.

I just turned our heat up to 72° in case we do lose power. The 4 extra degrees can make a difference as long as the power isn't off for a long period.

Not to cold temp wise but we are looking at 8 strait hours of thunderstorms during the night to night and tomorrow morning. Lots of rain over the next few weeks.

that sounds nice though Larry I would like to change my wood fireplace to propane.

We had a natural gas fireplace as back up heat in TN. I think only needed it once. It got so much colder and for longer up there. Not for me.

I went pricing the propane and they wanted a couple grand not counting the tank and gas. Then said they dont really throw good heat there mainly for looks.
