Granny's gone and done it again

I will be interested to see what you get from the eggs!
I've hoping for a jumbo breasted, wide and deep and long bodied bird type. The genetics are there if they land in the right pattern. I've worked at this in my head for over a year getting this far. The Cornish Cross hens had to survive first and then the wait for White Jersey Giant chicks to be available again.

I may have one in the brooder now. Can't be sure but his leg color is right and he is double the size of some of the other chicks of the hatch. By far the largest of the hatch and there was and egg to produce the cross in the incubator. I forgot to mark them to track. I'm marking eggs that I'll be setting by Friday next week now.

I'll take a picture tomorrow in the sunshine for the best light of a Cornish Rock egg next to a small size egg that is coming from some newly laying pullets. A small egg weighs 1.5 OZ and a Jumbo 2.5 OZ. We get Cornish Cross eggs over 3 OZ.
do you get double yolkers?
