got my coffee , set up the pot for tomorrow and got the hiccups. Ouch!

Forgot to warn you about the hiccups. I only did that once I think and I wanted to scream. Didn't have my pillow by me...

I hope twist is not frozen to a lamp post.... Remember how kids got their tongues stuck to such being silly. Brrr. I never even tried it. Of course FL didn't get that cold and by the time I move to MI I was far to old to do such.

Oh, hall-lujah, Jenny just went outside by herself! I just had to turn on the light on the stairs for her. She went up the stairs by herself and I heard the dog door flap ... she was gone several minutes, long enough to do her business (I hope!) and came back down, and has lay down again. Yes, I think she did! Hooray!

A former pastor's wife, who grew up in Alaska, said that happened to her, and to this day her tongue is sensitive and parts have no taste buds, it's a serious injury. It always curls my toes at that scene in the Christmas Story movie. I know the cure is to pour warm water over it, not to yank your tongue off by force, but still ... <shudder> it's no joke.
