Granny's gone and done it again

You meant you'll be working on being weird? Does that come with old age too? ❓
Not necessarily - I am naturally weird. I've always traveled to the beat of an off key drum. I embrace my weirdness.

Im so sorry you fell Larry. This pain is awful Cant even take a deep breath.
Did they tell you to practice deep breathing so you dont get pneumonia ?
Yes. They told me the same thing after prostate surgery. They kicked me out of the hospital 2 days after prostate surgery so I wouldn't get pneumonia in the hospital. They sent a device home with me to breath through to make my lungs empty. Granny I don't know which was worse. Being cut open and stapled shut or breaking ribs in a fall. Either way sucking air in as much as possible and them pushing as hard as possible to get it out hurt like no one who hasn't done it can understand. The breathing comes with some many medical procedures to prevent pneumonia. Not just falls and ribs. Standard operating procedure about anytime being in the hospital and cut on.

Oh man! I leave for a day and look how much trouble you two get into! Larry, sorry you fell again. I can't imagine how you must hurt. I hit my thumb with a hammer three times in a row once and I thought I was going to drop dead ftom the pain. And lately I keep biting my tongue and that's pretty awful too, I just about haven't been able to eat solid food for almost two weeks - but ribs! You needs ribs to be able to breathe! I'm really sorry and hope you quit falling so you can heal. And Granny! What a mess! You need safety goggles or something for bathroom duty like that. And that didn't help your ribs much either, did it? Mercy!

Tom is struggling to get out of his bed and I dont know how to help him.
Can he roll over onto his side and then put his feet on the floor? That's what I had to do when I had surgery on one of my arms and could not use it to prop myself up.

Poodles with wings! 😄

We ended up getting the newer motorhome
Let's see!

I've been out in the sun room cleaning out the brooder for the new hatchlings. I think the hatching is over with but I'll take any that decide to come out tonight. Tomorrow will be 22 full days. All remaining eggs shoe fully developed chicks but no movement. The ones that hatched did it quick and easy except for one and that one if fine with the little bit of coconut oil help it got. I'm not going so set any more for awhile unless we need more frying pan birds. The one exception I know of is that I'm going to cross a pure Cornish onto my Cornish Rock hens to get 3/4 Cornish that might turnout white. That can get interesting in a few generations.

Aw, DH and I just finished reading to each other and I guess everyone here has signed off for now . Maybe the late nighters will check in shortly. I'll be in and out while I check out some other threads.
