I washed the last of the pots that needed to be done. Now cooking some cauliflower, going to put soup in with it once it's nearly cooked.

poor baby. I hope he heals quicklyGoodness. Our little Ashton can't get a break. Winter comes. He's sick. Just got over Covid last month, now he has Hand Mouth and Foot disease. He was running a high fever yesterday. No sore throat or runny nose. Wondered what was going on. Couldn't get the fever away..at least it's down to 100. Tonight he was complaining of his thumb hurting. He had had it in his mouth. Thought maybe he did something to skin. Bandaid are miracle workers for kids. I said let's go wash it and put a Bandaid on it. Ok! I couldn't tell where it was sore on his thumb. I asked where it hurt. He pointed. I saw three litte red dots. Well a daughter was over visiting, she's the one that babysits him and had to have Bronwyn come get him yesterday because he was running quite a high temp. As we were visiting and discussing his fever and the bumps I saw, we decided to look all over him. He does have a slight rash on trunk of body. Not even an hr later the palm if his hands are red!! More bumps! He had complained of his private parts itching/hurting. We look. Oh my.Bronwyn called the drs office. We were thinking 5th disease. The nurse said, if it's this or that..named a few things..she says nothing they can give. Then they messaged her back later because they were talking about his symptoms. She asks, does he have sores in his mouth. Hadn't looked. Looked. Oh yes! Poor guy. It's gotten even worse since. Tomorrow is going to be real hard on him. Very contagious. I watched him for her last night while he was running a higher temp. They adults don't usually get it. Only if they have a low immune system.
Guess I'll see. No school for him for a while, again.
