Granny's gone and done it again

I give Robert credit for knowing what he can and can't do. I respect that. He does what he can, and in some ways, that's a lot. It's hard for "us" to understand the mind of a person with autism, especially given the fact that no two people with autism are alike. They perceive the world differently than the rest of us do, and they have to figure out how to navigate that world the best they can. Robert's doing the best he can. I'm not sure either of my kids could or would give me a shot once a month, but Robert does that for Granny. He does a lot. I think he's pretty amazing.
thank you Blue. That means a lot to me.

Our low tonight is supposed to be 38° which is 4° better than last night. We are almost to highs being in the 70's or better most every day now.
I know we got up to at least 62 today, cuz I had to use some Great Stuff in my hen house so I was watching the thermometer closely!

My kid is brilliant in a lot of ways, and also mildly autistic. Sometimes I just have to shake my head because I forget that he is and then ... bam, there it is. And then I realize he sees the world completely differently from the way I do.
