Dont quote me but if you only hear one I would think fox. Coyotes are mostly in packs.   Do they both hunt in the day ? Coyotes do when kits are involved.

Not sure, but it was dark evening when I heard it. I've seen the coyotes in daylight, though. I saw one try to grab a hen under the fence, luckily there was chicken wire in the gap. That was a few years ago.

Fart egg this am. Not from eating beans. I did feed pintos to one pen of chickens this am. Only got 7 eggs today.

I was just kidding you!!! Feeding them pintos?? You are gonna get a ton of fart eggs now. I got 4 eggs today. The jays got one.
